SDG 6: CLEAN WATER & SANITATION

Safe and affordable drinking water for all by 2030 requires we invest in adequate infrastructure, provide sanitation facilities, and encourage hygiene. Protecting and restoring water-related ecosystems is essential. Ensuring universal safe and affordable drinking water involves reaching over 800 million people who lack basic services and improving accessibility and safety of services for over two billion.
We are determined to make clean water, reliable toilets, and good hygiene standard for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials, in ways that last, can people change their lives for good.

Together we can unlock people’s potential with clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene.
In a world with so many competing priorities, we remain firmly focused on tackling these three essentials because they transform people’s lives for good.
